Hi Jackie, Yes the bridles are BD Legal. All the PS of Sweden Bridles have a lovely, padded and cutaway headpiece so it does not interfere with the ears and reduces poll pressure. Nirak™ vs Pioneer - The difference may seem small but that's not the actual case...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Pioneer has a three step adjustable noseband that avoids pressure points. Nirak™ avoids pressure points as well, but the main function is that the noseband is attached to the cheek pieces. That means that when the rider pulls the reins pressure is added on both the nose and the bit. Nirak™ function as a combined bridle instead of a combined bit while Pioneer offers more various functions. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Pioneer has a well designed headpiece which avoids pressure points. Nirak™ does too, but has also the strategically designed air gap over the poll and extra padding all around for additional comfort. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Yes both bridles are British Dressage Legal.
